My Mission to Enrich Elderly Lives
A warm introduction to the heart behind Kindness Co.
Hello, I’m Emma — the founder of Kindness Co. & someone who believes deeply in the power of gentle, human connection. My work is rooted in compassion, dignity, & the simple idea that everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported in a way that feels natural and respectful.
🌸 My background
I’ve trained in counselling skills up to Level 3 and later completed a Level 2 qualification in mental health awareness. Those studies shaped the way I show up for people — with empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to understand their world.
I’m also currently studying Level 2 Principles in Dementia Care to deepen my knowledge and strengthen the support I offer to people living with memory changes. Learning is something I carry with me into every visit, every conversation, every moment.
🌼 My experience
Over the past four years, I’ve worked hands‑on as both an activities coordinator & a carer, supporting older adults with all levels of cognition. These roles taught me so much about dignity, autonomy, & the importance of meeting people exactly where they are — whether that’s through gentle activities, meaningful conversation, or simply sitting together in comfortable quiet.
Those experiences are the foundation of Kindness Co. They’ve shown me that companionship isn’t just a service; it’s a relationship built on trust, warmth, and presence.
🌱 Why I created Kindness Co.
Kindness Co. grew from a desire to offer something soft, human, and truly person‑centred — a service that honours individuality, celebrates small moments, and brings comfort to both clients and their families.
I wanted to create a space where older adults feel safe and uplifted, and where families feel reassured that their loved one is supported with genuine care.
💗 What you can expect
When you invite me into your home or your loved one’s life, you can expect:
* A calm, friendly presence
* Gentle, dementia‑aware companionship
* Activities tailored to the person, not the diagnosis
* Respect for routines, preferences, and personal history
* A service built on kindness, not rush or pressure
Kindness Co. is more than a business — it’s a commitment to care that feels warm, human, and deeply respectful.

Charities and Community Services
There are many wonderful charities and community organisations that offer free or low‑cost support for people living with dementia and their families. These services can be incredibly valuable, and I am always happy to help you find them if they feel like the right fit.
Why Some Families Choose Kindness Co.
While charities often provide excellent support, their services can sometimes be limited by:
• long waiting lists
• short appointment times
• changing staff or volunteers
• specific eligibility criteria
Kindness Co. offers something a little different:
• Consistency — the same friendly face every time
• Flexibility — sessions shaped around your routines
• Warmth and familiarity — building trust at a gentle pace
• Truly personalised companionship — based on interests, history, and comfort
• Time to connect — no rush, no pressure, no time limits
My support is designed to feel calm, human, and deeply respectful — the kind of companionship that grows into a trusted relationship.
